Testing the limit of the camera.

Click the image to zoom in, & use the controls: the top triangle is a zoom slider, the arrows pan the image, drag the upper-left red box to navigate, click-hold and drag the mouse to move around the image, the right circle resets image.

What you are looking at:

Shell with scale, 7.5mm wide.

Resolution of the zoomifyer image is about 100 pixels per 1 mm, the shell image being about 7000 x 4000 pixels, the entire base image being about 28 megapixels. Composed of about 30 exposures, average of 1 exposure per square mm, which is the limit of the camera (Nikon Coolpix 990).

Photographed hand-held on my desk as a test to see what what the software workflow was capable of. Just one desk lamp with variable exposure control.
